Our Motocross drivers could win, Liugi choose the wrong gum

Our drivers raced abroad this weekend, Bence Szvoboda - Motocross Champioship-at the checz race, Gergő Lécz in Slovakian Cup and Luigi-Autocross-also in Bohemia.

Bence Szvoboda won the previous checz race as well so it wasn't a surprise that the others were afraid of him. The whole track was wet due to the rain previously so all the races were yellow-flagged in the more and more one-cogent track and every passing took a huge effort from the pilots. Bence Szvoboda won the qualifying and he confidently led during the race: "I had the 1st start and led in the 1st position during the laps and won the race - said the driver -. Though I was in front it wasn't easy because the others were right behind me, putting a continuous pressure on me. The 2nd start wasn't that good I was in P4 but in the 2nd lap I took over the lead and won the race. I'm really happy for the weekend, everything was fine with the motor and I was able to concentrate and I was confident as well.”

Bence's next race will be the German ADAC Cup where he will race in MX1 with Scott Racing Team using the motor which he will race with in Locet, the Motocross Championship, on 5th of August.

Gergő Lécz raced in Slovakian Cup this weekend. He won both qualification but he won only the first race though it wasn't his fault that he couldn't duplicate.

"The track was very good, it was raining all night long so we raced in mud - told Gergő - at the start I turned in the 3rd place, two 450' motor were in front of me (he has a 350' one) but I managed to pass them and won with a huge vantage. The next race had a similar start but after a pass and caught the leader up one of the outran pilot fell on me. I had to stop and tried to escape but the slovakian guy kept me. When finally I could escape the leaders were far away so I finished in P4 which means the 3rd position in the Scoreboard."

Gyula Lajos "Luigi" raced in Bohemia where they hold the FIA CEZ Autocross Trophy. Luigi is getting ready so hard for the European Championship, Nyirád. This weekend was one stage of this preparations. He finished P7 in the first qualifying round then won easily the following two:

"It was such a fantastic autocross complex where we raced, I enjoyed every part of it - started Luigi -. The track was muddy which was perfect for me so I could win easily. I started from P1 in "A" final. They sprinkled the track in every lap to keep it wet which I expected in the final as well but I wasn't lucky. As I stopped at the grid I knew I wouldn't win; the track was dry and my gums were prepared for wet. Despite this I kept going in P2 but because of a mistake I finished in P3. I'm a bit disappointed although it was my fault because I choose the wrong gum. However it was a good lession but the essence is to prepare for Nyirád where we won't make the same mistake again.”

Luigi has a 3-day test in Nyirád this week for the Autocross European Championship which will be hold 18-19, August. They try all the settings and prepare as much as they can.
